Got Tone? . . .

There are some cymbals, even when you hit them properly, sound like a fancy piece of sheet metal with maybe a hint of a note of some kind. or ..maybe a slightly shimmery, 29" cowbell. This, is Not that. Are they inexpensive, No- Why should they be? Are they worth it... Absolutely. Especially in the 280 range.
Quite simply, the 20" A Custom Crash ( The base "Crash" ..Not 'Projection', or other iteration ~ While fine, this is not their review) ~ is an astounding, top line professional cymbal with enough tone, minute dynamics and explosive, Giant-Wash tone that will serve a symphony as well as Bonham-style playing. They are a medium thin, combined with a good 20 inches, makes them Incredibly sensitive while having enough power in reserve to be your favorite cymbal, hands down. (Paired with this, I also have a 20" Paiste Signature Full Crash and they Compliment each other perfectly). Pick one up.. Play it softly with a mallet and just take in the complex and beautiful tone. (This will allow you to draw on the variety of tone when you are playing in context with music). I took a Blind Leap and ordered from Hi Fi sound connection.. a "Used" one. It showed up brand new. Could not be happier. Hope this helps! Yay for amazing cymbals! No matter Who makes them! Cheers!

Nearly perfect

Obviously because of the crack but hopefully that’s somewhat fixable. Great job packing the item also.

Shiny shimmering explosions!

This cymbal is awesome! I play anything from rock, alternative, blues, country and jazz. This cymbal fits with all of them.

The edges are med-thin with tons of sound. It has so much surface area that it almost sounds like you hit 2 cymbals. The long decay and medium tone are exactly what I wanted to complement my set. Most people ride on cymbals this big but you'll never get the same tonal characteristics out of a ride or crash/ride that you can with this beast. Highly recommended!Read full review...

Zildjian A Custom 20" crash

Surprisingly dynamic, controllable, low pitched. Easy and soft under the stick. Suitable for soft patterns or crash riding with ease.

Great company, and a very happy buyer!!!!!!

I received the cymbal in perfect shape. Got it out the box, mounted it, and loved it. Great instrument with a wonderful sound and tone. Can also be used as a ride/crash in a pinch. Very happy with it!!!!Read full review...

This is the good stuff

I love this cymbal. It's very responsive to a light touch. I'm not the kind of drummer that just slams his cymbals. I have a seven drum kit with eight cymbals for accenting and color. Both beat and backbeat I make it very musical.Read full review...
