This Rice Cooker is well designed and manufactured cooking from the bottom, top and sides to prevent burning. Have used it to cook steel cut oats and the timer option is brilliant. Replaced a 20+ year old Zojirushi rice cooker with this. Cooking bowl is much thicker and results are great. Fuzzy logic cookers give a terrific result.
