Good Game

This game's better than the first Zoo Tycoon DS. Instead of a single save slot, you have three(possibly because of multiplayer and the ability to trade zoos with a friend), and there are more features, such as a "Zookeeper Mode" where you can feed, clean, pet, and administer medicine to the animals.

However, there's a freezing glitch where you can see a dolphin "swimming" in one of your exhibits, and, if you touch the dolphin, the game freezes. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying the game. I'm ecstatic!

The game arrived on time, and was packaged extremely well! Seeing this gives me a lot of confidence in Shanathan's Emporium, and I might be making another purchase soon. I have ZT2 but now I need ZT. Educational and fun all in one!

My fiance and I bought this for my 11 year old daughter for Christmas. She is an avid DS player and loves animals. She has played the PC version of Roller Coaster Tycoon and we thought this was a perfect mix of the two. She loves this game and said, "there is so much cool stuff to do and I can make a dolphin exhibit!" It is educational and fun all in one. She has to maintain the animals, make money, build the exhibits and make sure her customers are happy. She will not put this game down because she wants to unlock more features! All in all, this game was a great purchase and we are very pleased. She loves it soooo much we bought the first one a couple of days ago! Highly recommend!!Read full review...

Zoo tycoon 2

I have zoo tycoon 2 for the pc, with upgrades. I bought the ds version thinking it would be similair. I'd have to say the ds version is a very weak attempt to copy the orginial. I found the graphics to be less the appealing, the gameplay is easy to manevuer, but the debth of the game functions or changes is very minimal...it simply doesnt have enough content, and is easy to get bored with. I doubt this will capture a childs or anyone elses attention for any length of time. If you want a good zoo game, buy the pc version (zoo tycoon 2 not 1).Read full review...

Zoo Tycoon2 DS

I bought this because I LOVE the computer version and the DS version looked like it would be really fun and have all kinds of neat aspects to it. It sadly is not like the computer version, and falls far short of what I was expecting. It's neat you can raise some very "exotic" animals, like unicorns and dinosaurs but you do not have the interactivity the computer version has, you can't put pens for the animals past a fixed small size, you can't interact with them like you can with the computer version, etc. I like the game, but I wouldn't buy it again.Read full review...

My kids love it!

I read some bad reviews of this product, but my children really really wanted it (they had the Zoo Tycoon pc game). Anyway, they were right - they love it. I bought this game for my kids. They had it and lost it, but loved playing. It keeps there attention. What I don't like about it is that they can play eachothers game. Second favorite game he has.
