Better than I thought. A real learning experience.

Based on the trailers I thought I'd seen all this movie had to offer. But I was quite wrong. The movie was inspirational. The soundtrack was great. The dialogue was witty and hilarious. And the message caught me completely off-guard. In the end this is, I feel, an important film in the current racially tense climate. Often we don't recognize that we have a racial bias. It can be subtle. But when it's revealed, it must be addressed and changed. This movie got my family and me talking about issues like this. I call this one a must-watch.Read full review...

love the movie but the DVD case is a knockoff

It seemed to be a quality DVD purchase until I opened the case. The DVD was in great condition, but the case for it wasn't. The case has a paper sleeve which doesn't fit well together. Every time I had to put the case in the sleeve, the cover photo would bend, tear and so finally, I got rid of that photo cover on the case.

Zootopia was cute enough for young children to enjoy and my adult son but I still miss the kind of humor that the 1950-60s Bugs Bunny toons had.

I guess I'm "spoiled" by the quality and humor cartoons of the Bugs Bunny era 1960s-1970s because I felt a little bored. I believe very young children will enjoy it though and my 38 yr. old son gave it an "A" grade. He didn't watch the same cartoons I did growing up and his youngest children are now 4 and 5 years old. Zootopia

Zootopia has such adorable characters. The animation is wonderful.
Zootopia is about an idealistic little rabbit who learns things are not what she believed. But with the help of her new friend, a fox, she makes the world a better place.

a great gift

I received this as a gift because I was never able to find time and money to visit it when it was in the theater. I have watched it over and over and enjoy it every time. The video was less than the cost of the tickets and I am taking a gender communication class and this film could be used as a source to show men how they oppress women without knowing they do it and women can do the same. It is a lot of fun but educational too.

The characters are well developed, the dialogue is witty and the overall story was well written and very creative.
