Works better than expected

The features I liked most about the eero, before buying, was the ability to set profiles and control wifi access, and it creates a mesh network for seamless access. The speed has been a very pleasant surprise. We're consistently getting at the top range of our ISP's speed profile, on both upstream and downstream. We had ATT Uverse and the gateway they installed could not get these speeds via Wifi. Eero does.Read full review...

The best wifi system I've ever used

We were considering Google's new wifi system, but on the advice of a colleague who is an IT expert, we chose eero instead. We made the right decision. eero is awesome. Setup is super easy, and it's by far the most reliable and most stable wifi system I have ever used. My application is a two story house at roughly 2,000 square feet, and roughly a dozen devices, with a regular flow of guests. After a couple of months I haven't once had a dead spot, freeze, dropped connection, etc. I had those regularly with my old Netgear wifi router. The eero matrix makes wifi more widely available throughout the entire house, as well as outside on my deck where I need it to sync to my golf flight monitor.

Another issue that eero has fixed for me is the chronic issues my iOS devices had connecting to my previous Netgear network. Most iOS devices, including at least one iPhone and two iPads, constantly disconnected from our network. The only way to reconnect was to reenter the wifi network name and password every time. With eero we have never had a device drop off the network. The device management features allows you to block devices from the network or reenable them at a tap of the screen. Sharing the guest network is a breeze through sms, email or scanning the QR code.

Making changes to the network is incredibly easy. Renaming the network, changing the password, etc. are trivial through the app. Doing those things on a typical wifi network can be an incredibly frustrating experience. Admin with eero is like it's portrayed in sci-fi movies, you can walk around the house tapping settings on your phone without even having to put down your cocktail.

Family profiles allow you to pause the network for specific devices at specific times, potentially useful as our little brats get older and will eventually start to use the network.

I haven't delved into the advanced network settings, but it looks like there's enough detail and features to satisfy even moderately complex network needs. This system is so good I'm considering using it at my business as well.

Thank you eero for making wifi a pleasure to use. This is the Apple of wifi systems, it just works. All the time.

Easy set up. Phone app.

Easy plug & play system. Phone app walks you through step by step on each piece of equipment. Indicates if beacon placement is in a good location to achieve coverage. Beacon has LED indicator when connected. I finally have WiFi across my house to cover three TV's, three phones, ans an alarm system without buffering or slow response times! The phone app lets you what is attached to system and what speed the upload and download for each device. It has controls to shut down WiFi if needed.
The device only has two LAN/Ethernet ports. I bought a switch box to add more ports to connect to home computer, alarm system, modem, etc. Total set up was less than 30 minutes.

Good for another 5 years!

I’ve had my AirPort Extreme/Airport express setup for 5 good years. Since the “new” home is an old house full of aluminum backed insulation and stones, the traditional router and extender system just wasn’t cutting it. Dead spots and high latency plagued our network. The bedroom was hardly getting 15mbps with over 55ping.

I went from box to surfing in 20 minutes with twice the speed and coverage of my previous setup. App is polished and easy to use. Setting up port forward, custom DNS, and user profiles is very intuitive. All of our 50+ devices are happy data munchers. The aforementioned bedroom now rocks 200+mbps and 20 Ping. Awesome.

Works perfect easy to set up

I was skeptical, had a nice wireless router before. I didn’t get strong signal on the far end of my ranch style home. The set up took 10 min or so, and I have super strong signal all over my house now! Seamless, easy to follow app instructions, and the nightlight feature is pretty cool also.Read full review...

Great Product

Fixed all the Deadspots in my house , when no other router or extender could. Also bought the 3 pack and only needed to use 2 of them to cover my whole house. Definitely upgraded my whole wifi and got a full strength signal everywhere. Thanks!Read full review...

Lightening Fast Highly recommend

Switch my wifi system to Eero, as my previous system was no longer being updated by the manufacturer. I should have done it sooner as the Eero system is lightening fast plus the security features that Eero offers.Read full review...

Solved my WiFi problems for good

I was ready to throw my WiFi router out the window. It would drop things all the time. At the recommendation of a friend I bought the Eero system. It was simple to set up and I haven’t had a drop since I installed it. I love that I can see exactly what’s connected and disable individual connections at will.

My house is not large, but built in the 1920s, it has lathe and plaster walls that seem to destroy WiFi signals. I have not had a single connection problem since installing Eero. Also, I run a lot of home automation. There are typically 16-20 devices connected to my WiFi at once and Eero is handling them all without issue.

Simply Put: A Phenomenal Home Mesh System!

This Eero home wi-fi mesh system is phenomenal. It is incredibly easy to set up and it spans the entire length of my 2200 square foot house. My house is all one level and spread out and it still covers with no problem as well as covers me outside. I'm getting over 15 megabytes a second faster than im paying for through my internet provider and that is even when i'm connected to the beacons! This is quite expensive but honestly it's been worth every penny. Could not be happier with it. If you decide to purchase the system, I believe you will be more than satisfied and you won't regret it. A++Read full review...

Works Great

With a three-story house, I was using three different "extenders" each with its own "network" name and still had dead spots. Plus, with three "networks", it made moving about the house complicated. Now with the eero, I have the main unit on the main floor, one Beacon upstairs and one downstairs, coverage is much better and able to move around without chaining networks plus streaming seems a lot faster. Setup was easy but had to have the eero do software updates before it would pair with the Beacons.Read full review...
