Digital output microphone! Recommended by Room EQ Wizard (REW) software. High quality - easy to use with "REW". It does include a "desk" sized tripod which is impractical for various room measurements. It is intended for use with standardized (modern) audio/microphone stands. I don't believe it will fit my old microphone floor stands. Microphone holder includes adapter for 3/8" threaded mounts - but not for 1/4"x20 camera tripod mount, which is far more available for people. I have my microphone attached with electrical tape for now; I must fabricate this adapter.Read full review

Great for placing acoustic treatments
Used with REW software (free), it let me take baseline measurements of my listening room, and helped me with placement of bass traps and acoustic tiles that made a huge improvement to the sound. I can both hear the differences, and see the differences in the graphs as I was making changes. Well worth having if you want to get the most out of your sound system.Read full review

Ideal room correction measurement microphone
Works great. Able to download a calibration file for that particular microphone (go to miniDSP website), and import the file into the room correction software i was using. The microphone is plug and play. Comes with a small tripod stand and 1.5 meter cable. Get a full-size microphone stand and a USB extension cable for room measurements.Read full review
