A Dynamo

My first impression was that the blades didn't cycle fast enough. However, after a couple minutes using it I noted that it cut really well in spite of the cutting speed. I was also impressed that the battery lasted a long time while cutting. I brought two batteries to cut the hedge at my daughter's house. I did the entire yard and there was still juice in the first battery. This made trimming much easier than using a corded trimmer. All in all, its a very useful tool and a good value.

Mad Men - Season 1

I started watching Madmen after it had been on TV for several seasons, but was interested in going back to the beginning....hence the DVD purchase. I was surprised at how much I had missed and all of the roots to later episodes that were plotted in the first season. This degree of detail usually doesn't happen in early episodes, but I found the foundations for many of the themes that ran through episodes in the later seasons to be kindled in the drama's first season. I just love this as a period piece; the amount of drinking and smoking at work, the treatment of women are so aptly portrayed. The acting is impeccable; the sets to die for. This is a great source of entertainment. I highly recommend it.
