SLIPKNOT s/t cd with PURITY and FRAIL LIMB NURSERY
2 of 2 found this helpful I wanted this cd ever since I found out about it. I bought the 2nd release, the one without purity and frail limb nursery, and then heard of this one. It is a great cd with a lot of talent and some great songs. Joey is one of the best drummers ive heard in a while. The combo of Mick and James (even though you dont hear much from James on the disc, he joined the band late in the game) for guitars is a sign of great music chemistry. The scratches and samples of Sid and Craig are perfectly in place. Paul's brutally low tone really brings it all together in the end. And the sound of Shawn and Chris' added vocals and percussion really gets the beat going. It has so much emotion and raw power in the vocals alone, Corey's singing is extremely melodic and easily one of the best voices in hard rock ever, and he has a very aggressive yet eerily melodic screams out there today, it almost seems inhuman. The mainstream release is great, but this one is the one for all true slipknot fans out there. Purity and Frail Limb Nursery are worth the purchase alone. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
