The foolish man built his house on sand.
My great grandfather was an employee of Galveston during this time and thank the Lord, the whole family survived, but what a horror it must have been cleaning up. This document depicts that horror in photos and stories very well.

Great piece of Galveston memorabilia.
A nice piece of family history. Grandfather was conductor and met my grandmother to be at the station in Galveston during those years.
