Good Printer for DOS environments.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought this printer because I need something that can use fan fold paper and could be used in a DOS/Windows/Linux environment to print broadcast packets from the ISS. There is support for this printer under Linux (Linux Mint) but it's very limited and works best on 180 dpi.

Accurate classic analog AC meter.
Great meter for measuring the gain in IF stages or other amplifier stages up to 10MHz. Not the meter of choice if you want to measure non-sinusoidal wave forms like square, saw, pulse or noise. The HP 3400A will do nicely for that. The meter I purchased was calibrated in 6/3/2020 and is still spot on.

Very capable and a great value!
While these power supplies are getting long in the tooth they can be a great bargain. As of the writing of this review I have purchased 3 of these supplies. As with these old supplies some may come with issues that were not caught when the unit was tested, such as bad cooling fans, etc. The units I have received so far had been serviced at some point before they were removed from service. The two I have received so far were very dusty on the inside, but compressed air fixes that issue. The second unit I received has a bad cooling fan but is easily replaced. If you intend on taking advantage of the HPIB functionality keep in mind that some of these units will be configured for either ARPS or SCPI control languages. The first unit I received was set for ARPS, the second was set to SCPI, it took me about 10 minutes to fix the issue when I had my "oh wait a minuet" moment. The unit pictured was the first one I had received, it's in very nice physical condition and works without issues. It has now become a part of my test and measurement setup.
