Bilstein 4600 Series Shock Absorber 24-187824

Satisfaction = Value

I bought these shocks with money earned by repairing automobiles for a living. At 53 yrs old, i've compiled 30+ years of professional experience as an ASE certified Master Automobile Technician. I have purchased and installed more shocks than I can count. Literally. When I decided to hang new ones on my Xterra and my 1st gen 4Runner, there was no other choice. Value is not, in my opinion and professional experience, determined by price. It is actually measured best in and by satisfaction. Having said that, Bilstein is far from the least expensive product. However, by the same token, they are also far and away less expensive than a plethora of other offerings. What they offer in fit and finish, ride quality, durability, and yes again durability makes them my choice and a no brainer recommendation.

size matters....

ok, it's big. and in case I didn't mention it, it's BIG. and that is exactly why I really like it. it is replacing a dual 3 1/2" driver denon center that was maybe a third as big overall. size matters (as in be darn sure you have space for it) and it delivers. low volume or driven hard it sounds great. added some real bottom end to my center channel. another thing, this cabinet is well constructed and it is HEAVY. but that gets props from me also because it keeps everything from vibrating around in my entertainment center at higher volume. I am pleased with it and would certainly recommend it provided you have the space and can accommodate the weight.
