It does exactly what it says it will do.

It allowed my PCI Gen2 motherboard to accept the latest Gen3 NVME SSD. It does exactly what it says it will do. But make sure you add a small CPU fan because the PCI switch gets extremely hot and can cause lock ups without the proper cooling
