Sturdy design
Well made and durable clamp. The top surface is machined and seems to slide easily. The quick release performs and allows a tight clamp. One draw back for me is that any holes that are an inch or more a part in the piece has to have everything realigned end re-centered by moving the piece. Different from last vise. Still good overall.

Compact safe
It's a convenient size to place valubles or even a small firearm. It small enough for under car seat or place in a travel bag. The lock seems to be fairly durable
