Nice small twig stove for the money!
Small twig stove able to use a Trangia or knockoff alcohol burner as well. Used to come with a small plate for fuel tablets, but they seem to have discontinued that. I love the hinge version, makes sure you don't lose any important parts (the hinge pin comes with a stainless steel ring that you can attach to the stove), and means cold hands will have an easier time putting it together. Haven't had any problems so far with heat warping the stove. The biggest drawback is that some smaller cups like the Stanley Adventure Cook set won't fit directly on top of the stove, they are too small. You need to use a grill of some sort, or just clip a wire coat hanger to make braces across the sides with holes in the top to give it someplace to rest on. Overall a good value for the money.

Good, not great
Construction seems to be very solid, as needed with a tactical pen. I have no doubt that it will break glass, especially safety glass, when needed. My only problem is it's every-day use as a pen. The pen tip extends and retracts by twisting the barrel of the pen, as normal on this type of item. I wish that there was more of a detent between twisting the barrel to retract the pen tip fully, and unscrewing the pen's barrel to change the ink cartridge. The second action is an almost seamless continuation of the first, and it can be difficult to tell which you're doing without actually looking at the pen. I wish you could tell just by feel.

Works great for me
0 of 2 found this helpful This external battery charges itself quickly and just as quickly charges other items (cell phone, e-reader, anything rechargeable by USB). The only downside is the weight - while it's not unexpected, it's not a lightweight item by any stretch, and that could be a factor in taking it along with me. Also, it's only chargeable through the USB port, not solar like some others. But it's fast and seemingly efficient, and that is a big plus for me.
