Guarding Tess
Guarding Tess is a truly heartwarming movie -- former First Lady played by Shirley McClane and the Secret Service Agent in Charge ("SAIC") played by Nicholas Cage. It's also one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. McClane reprises her usual role as a rich, demanding and absolutely impossible aging woman, and Cage is hilarious as the by-the-book Secret Service agent in charge of her security. They drive each other crazy, and they love each other and hate each other, and the plot and character developments are fantastic. You have to watch this one!!

Phenomenon
I saw this movie more than 10 years ago and loved it, and it was on TV last night pretty late, so I watched it again. I want my 9-year old son to see it. It's really, really fascinating and it's something I can show to a child of 9 years. I've never seen anything like it before. In this movie, John Travolta actually had a role that required a really good actor, and he certainly hit a home run. Kyra Sedgwick is also really good, as is George Whitaker. You can't miss this one!!
