Lightweight Feel - Lightweight Reception
1 of 1 found this helpful Aside from feeling like it was made with a 3D printer, it's dead on accurate with VHF/UHF frequencies and decoding CSS/DCS. However, you need to be within inches for this to work. Trying to get the freq. of someone several feet away on an HT isn't possible. Sensitivity is very low.

Avoid the cheap counterfeits
I've previously purchased very inexpensive FTDI cables that all required finding obscure installers, accepting unsigned drivers and all sorts of nonsense. They were all very touchy and involved lots of reboots and mucking with files.
This cable required none of that. Drivers installed in the background and it worked flawlessly. Spend a few extra dollars and buy the real deal.
