Very gentle for kitties skin, despite tight mats I can use this in small increments by myself. Dont waste your money on cheap painful clippers.
I LOVE them. I have been using them in 5 minute increments and without help on my two cats tight thick mats. Much less painful and no abrasions like other clippers I have used. Well worth the cost and my cats agree.

Perfect compact size
I put two under my counter over my sink so my wash cloths have a place to dry and the other is used for my hand towel.
