Only One Season???

Miami Vice for the 21st century, with a touch of FAST AND FURIOUS. Excellent chemistry between the leads. Realistic relationships kept the action from being too over-the-top. The biggest crime was the show not lasting past one season (and ending on with cliffhanger to boot!). Slick and stylish. I knew that, like 21 JUMPSTREET, much of the music rights didn't carry over onto DVD. Still glad to own this.

Why Not Widescreen?

Sprawling western adventure with a great cast. Effects are somewhat dated after half a century, but still solid storytelling. And a wonderful score by Quincy Jones. Why this wasn't released in widescreen is beyond me. I bought the 4 film set after, just to have the best presentation.

Good movie, mediocre transfer

Solid film, but find a better copy. Sound quality, especially during the songs, is bad. Not sure what this was transferred from, but it's definitely been edited for content. There appear to be different copies on the market. Don't buy the one from Passion Productions/PMC.
