Don't buy this, see Hauppauge's website customers reviews, negative.
I have Shaw HD Satelite service and this digital tape recorder did not work. Oh it worked in black and white and hooked up to my computer. Its basically a VCR for your computer. It will NOT RECORD on its own. If you don't want to be hooking and re-hooking wire to your computer, then don't buy this unit. The BLACK AND WHITE picture was also BLURRY.
Please read the Hauppauge websites customer reviews, very negative about the unit. If you want to record in your computer then use an Easy Capture unit, only $20.00 not $$$.
