Just what I needed
I needed a small date stamp to stamp various papers with the date I actually received them to monitor how long it took mail, internal memos, etc. To move through the office. This fits the bill as it leaves a visible but unobtrusive small date. Compared to the local office supplier, price was a steal. It arrived safe and sound, very quickly.

Impressive but not functional
1 of 1 found this helpful It is substantial and impressive, but the clip does not hold money well, but is prone to come loose and release bills with little pressure, often leaving loose bills in the pocket. If you want an impressive gift, it's great. If you want something that functions well, there are $10 stainless steel ones that are head and shoulders above this.

GREAT PEN FOR FREQUENT WRITERS
I bought this pen because I am a fan of Wright's work. I was very pleased to find that the pen is exceptionally well made with metal threads on the inside of the barrel and on the point assembly. The pen is hefty, but not too heavy, and is not tiring to write with. It's price was great, considering the quality of the pen, and comparing it with 'premium' brand pens. It also will take just about any type of refill you can find, so long as the refills are of the same general shape and length. This is a great plus as you don't have to hunt for refills that fit, and don't have to pay the premium prices for refills that some brands charge. An added plus is that the pen can be converted to a fountain pen by purchasing a fountain pen section from the company.
