Meets my needs
I bought this as a special purpose tool to measure ignition amperage accurately. Checking against ohm's law, it seems to be accurate for my purposes.

Solved my problem.
I used it on a flathead Ford modified oiling system. It uses a common Ford filter that incorporates a bypass valve. Working great so far.

Fit right
I paid a little more for an old stock part vs one from unknown origin. Installed this idler arm and removed the slop that was in the old one.
