Third hawk from Cold Steel (Taiwan-American Tomahawk Co.)
2 of 4 found this helpful Have a Trail, gave a Pipe to my son and wanted something a little beefier for packing and shelter construction. This pushes the limit as to what can be considered a hawk, more like a heavy hatchet. Maybe I was spoiled by my Trail's featherweight nimbleness. Plan on stripping that nasty paint off as usual and grinding off a few strategic ounces to bring it down to fighting trim. PS: Some ham-fist in China spun the set-screw past the threads and into the handle. Good thing the head/handle were a crappy fit since I now have to replace it. Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?
