Great Bang for the buck.
4 of 4 found this helpful OK lets face it. 4K players are way overpriced. When I bought my first BD player 12 years ago I paid $250 for it. Now you can get one for about $40. The same is true with 4K. It's the latest and greatest so it's priced way up there. If you can wait, the prices will come down. I only got this one because I got an awesome price and I wanted one to go with my new 4K TV. It's a great easy to use machine. Set up is quick and simple and comes with a lot of built in thingys for streaming and downloading and all that rot it your into that. But my TV and new Audio Video Amp comes with all that stuff too so it's kind of redundant. And lets face it. 4K is little more then a gimmick. I can play a regular BD disk, or a 4K disk and can tell no difference in picture quality. Yes, the DVD player, Amp, and TV all contain upscalers to supposedly improve quality but who knows. I think the biggest improvement over the older stuff is the HDR capability. The colors really pop. So to wrap it up if your hell bent to get a 4K DVD player to match your new 4K TV you can't go wrong with this Samsung if you can get it for as cheap as I did. $139.
