I never knew I could be so creative.

I had been wanting a looper for a long time. I was afraid that I may get tired of it though, because of the monotony of the same phrase playing over and over. I could not have been more wrong. I think this is the best learning tool there is. You can layer over a basic rythem with a few stabs here and there, then layer over that again and the playback just becomes the coolest groove! There is no monotony factor. I had to read the instructions a couple of times to understand how to operate it correctly, but then I was off and running. I wish I would have bought one 10 years ago. And I'm still only using one of the many drum patterns. It's great!

Great HD video image and built in microphone

This is the second camera (same model) that I have purchased. I keep a video journal, and have used my original camera nearly every day for three years. It began to develop auto-focus issues, and I opted to purchase a new camera. I still use the original, unless I need reliable focusing. The high definition video image is excellent. It has great zoom capability. I also play electric guitar and video my playing sessions. The built in microphone handles loud amplifier sound without distorting. It is such a good, and durable camera that after comparing features of newer panasonic models, I chose another HC-V720. Great camera!
