This book is a comprehensive look at soft hackles of all kinds. In addition to the "traditional soft hackles", considerable attention is given to modern design including synthetic materials, as well as beads as well as weighted soft hackles. Well written, well designed and a good read if you are interested in a broad look at soft hackle flies.

good with tomato sauce
1 of 9 found this helpful we usually prepare the floss with just a good olive oil and garlic. But this time , we did prepare it with a very simple homemade tomato sauce. It did come alive with a shake of red pepper flakes, but was a perfect dinner with just a salad. The nice thing about using floss, is that it comes "al dental" , so just needs a bit of warming .
