Beautiful plant
I've had mine for a little over 3 weeks and has already grown a few new leaves. Excited to see how it develops over time. Beautiful leaves! The seller packed these very well and with obvious care.

63mm pvc pipe cutter
0 of 1 found this helpful It took a minute or two of looking at the mechanism to figure out that the blade needs to be pulled out manually. There is substantial resistance to pulling the blade out so it seemed like it was locked, but really, it seems to be a safety design to ensure children don't hurt themselves. Give the blade a good pull but release the ratcheting action first by pushing the handles apart. I wish there were instructions for that but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. Hopefully by reading this, it might save you a minute or two of frustration.
As far as cutting went, I used it for a 1.5" section of pvc that I had permanently affixed as a return in a koi pond. If I used a saw or other sharp tool, I risked puncturing the pond liner. I decided to give this a shot.
I placed the tool around the pipe and began squeezing, it immediately cut about halfway through the wall and stopped. It did not cut halfway through the pipe but only through half the OD wall- meaning if I looked inside the pipe there was no blade protruding through the inside wall. I squeezed and squeezed and could get no further but I could see the pipe bending from the squeezing. I decided to rotate the blade and reposition halfway out of the first cut and into uncut material and began to ratchet down. I repeated this twice and, on the third reposition, it cut right through the entire pipe. I only needed to make one cut and I was successful. I tried it on a second piece and it was much easier once I knew to rotate it a bit. It worked, but there were no instructions so I just created a technique that worked. Maybe it will help you too. seems like a decent tool and did the job.
