Great game

Very good hobby microscope
4 of 5 found this helpful It was supposed to show up between September 3-11 and I received it on the 3rd. There was a white rubberband type object that came with it which I thought was cut in half. After closer inspection, I didn't notice any damage to it and still have no idea what that piece is for. I am able to use the microscope without any problems.
It doesn't zoom in as far as I'd like, but it works good for numismatics and other hobbies. I have to set a piece of paper or another item on the cast aluminum base, so that I don't scratch the coins.
The wheels to raise and lower the microscope seemed a bit loose and if I bumped it, it would drop slightly. After tightening the piece in the back, the problem was fixed.
The main ring of LED lights can be a pain sometimes, as it gets rid of most of the shadows on the object I'm looking at, but I can always turn it off. The two side lights help a lot more, even though they flicker once in a while.
The small DVD that came with it was scratched, but I was able to get it to work and can use the microscope as a temporary webcam. Using the Micro USB to USB cable that came with it, I'm able to see the object on my computer monitor much larger than the 7 inch screen.
