Does the job

I'd never used a flash before so I don't have any basis for comparison. I was pleased with this purchase, had no problems with it, and would recommend it. Used on my Nikon FM and FM2.

Works perfectly

This QR plate is essentially identical to my original plate, and works perfectly. I added a retaining ring (C-clip) to the bolt which screws into the camera tripod mount, but that's only my OCD tendencies.
