Great size / color / quality for indoor touch-ups, arts/crafts

I highly recommend the 8-oz size of this flat white paint for renters. 8 oz is just right for doing touch-up work with putty to cover up nail holes, TV wall mount holes, etc. in your plain white walls when you move out of an apartment, so as not to get dinged on your security deposit. Also it's good for arts and crafts projects too -- it's truly a flat paint, not smooth or slightly glossy like acrylic paint. Any object painted over with a few layers of this paint is easy to paint on with oils or watercolors, and to sketch on in pencil (pencil erases very easily from it too).

Don't use an iPad without one of these!

I was a bit skeptical that this piece of plastic would adhere to my iPad's screen at first, given it doesn't have anything really sticky on it. But lo and behold, when I put it on there, it stuck fast and continues to hold firmly. There are a few bubbles of air trapped in there that I can't shunt off to the side, but when the iPad screen is lit up, they're not noticeable. And now I don't worry about scratches or fingerprints, since they're on the screen protector, not my screen.

This is a great little clip-on desk lamp / reading light. My favorite feature is its very sturdy metal clamp. (My previous clip-on lamp had a plastic clamp that broke just a year or so after I bought it.) It sheds enough light for a large desk as well as for a book. I also like the adjustable neck of the lamp, and it has a classy, shiny, metallic look to it. The only thing that would make it better is a slightly longer power cord, or, even better, a rechargeable battery.
