does what you want
only "con" is the short USB power cable. if tv doesn't have a USB port, then you'd likely need an USB extension cord to reach a power outlet USB power source.

better than nothing, but don't really know how much. convenient & thin
answers requirement for some protection with thin profile (so as to fit and charge in) motorcycle qui charger/mount.
didn't think of it before purchase, but case side offers 0 protection for the buttons or other ports on s9+ (case cutouts don't protect against moisture or dust).
so, while it does seem it will provide SOME protection against drop damage, don't really know how much, but it's got to be better than the nothing i was facing before purchase.
durability remains to be seen. i've had this holster style before, & the bel clip has failed from (what i believe to be) less fatigue than i'd expect it to withstand.
