1 of 1 found this helpful I purchased this PS3 60gb system as a second system for my den. I already have a PS3 60gb system in my family room.
This Sony PS3 60gb system eliminates many differnt home theater items when connected to your HDTV or to the HDTV through an AV/RECEIVER or AMP with HDMI.
Only one cable (HDMI)is needed to connect from the PS3 console to the HDTV or AV/RECEIVER - AMP. The HDMI cable carries both Video and Audio signals.
Has a built-in Blu-ray DVD player. The picture and sound from a Blu-ray disk played on a PS3 system is awesome!
The PS3 60gb system also eliminates the need for a second DVD or CD player. It upscales regular DVD's and plays SA-CD's (sony Audio Compact Disks) in addition to playing regular music CD's.
Has internal WiFi and external Ethernet to effortlessly download Firmware, Games, Movies, Go on the internet and etc. No additional fees are charged by Sony like there are for XBox.
The PS3 is an all around Game and Home Entertainment System.
Should never go obsolete!!!

The Bourne Supermacy HD-DVD
Purchased to complete my Bourne HD-DVD disk set. Great action, sound and picture. Much better than regular DVD format, even when regular DVD disk is played on upscale DVD player.

Very Clean and Works Great
Sharp image DVD play back and the Super Audio SACD music play back sounds great.
