Waiting For Android Apps
I purchased this unit because it is on the Google waiting list for Android Apps coming soon.
Otherwise, the unit is a competent Chromebox with 4GB RAM and it boots up and shuts down in a few seconds. Add a SSD drive for downloads and media storage and the onboard 16 GB flash drive is more than adequate
I chose a Chromebox because my wife needs a large screen and you can't get that with a Chromebook, which we already own.
The cross-platform approach of Chrome/Android by Google will probably morph into some other OS in a few years or months, but this unit is fine for the foreseeable future.
