My Favorite
I bought this to replace my old EZ pod of 20 years. There are several reasons why I am sold on this design.
First is the spring loaded top that allows me to adjust the height by pushing one button and locking it with another button. It's automatic for me.
Next is the inclusion of a tilt head to move the camera forward and back and a quick release plate. This saves me from buying a special head. There is also a quik release included.I did buy a Manfrotto tilt head to add side to side ability. Now I can do anything a tripod can do in a light weight easy to use monopod.
Finally, it can be set up on a few seconds and stored in as little time and it comes with a shoulder strap attached
Oh yeah, one more plus is that this was made in Japan, not china.
If you can find one buy it. I don't think they are being made any more.
