5 of 5 found this helpful Great throttle response and amazing idle. You MUST: 1. Reset the Vehicle Power Control Module (PCM) before installation (Negative Battery Cable). 2. After Part is Hung: Reconnect battery and reset the Throttle Idle Sensor (Start Vehicle and Idle 3 minutes; Turn off Ignition for 1 minute; Do this Three Times-vehicle should idle @ 750 RPM). 3. Operate vehicle for a distance of 15-20 miles under normal driving conditions. What ever you do; DO NOT open or close the Throttle Body Plate with you hands during un-wrapping or installation...You will destroy the electronic gears, which the PCM uses to electronically adjust the Throttle Body Plate. Every Negative Review I have read for this item describes deficiencies caused by improper PCM Programming or Throttle Body Handling. If you know how to handle, install, and program an Electronic Throttle Body, I highly recommend this product.
