The Chalk Garden
It's one of Haley Mills first dramatic roles, I believe, and she is excellent in it. I have always liked Deborah Kerr and once again, she doesn't disappoint in her role. I'm sure many didn't like it, it held a special significance for me.

Robinson Crusoe on Mars - Criterion
What can I say? It's a cult favorite =) It brought back great memories for me, and even with all the new "technology" for movies, it was great to see the old favorite in crisp, clear, widescreen!

3 of 3 found this helpful Very entertaining, maybe because I am a "displaced" Asian and its very interesting about "value" of a woman's life. Some would call it a chick-flick, but I think men would find it entertaining, informative how the lives of the mothers revolve for their daughters as well as themselves.
Take a chance, rent or buy a copy, you won't be disappointed =)
