Right part at the right price: success
This filter is an exact "factory" replacement for the filter on my vintage McCulloch chainsaw. In all ways it appears identical to the old filter in shape and materials. When installed, it fit perfectly. It took a few pulls after it was installed to get the saw running again, but now she runs like new. The filter has not been in use long enough to judge longevity. I am pleased.

Old fan, new switch: BREEZE!
I bought this switch to return an otherwise useless fan to service. Installation was a bit fiddly, but I expected that. The switch had to be mounted to the motor's cover before remounting the cover, and there wasn't a great dal of space to do it all. This is a function of where the switch had to go, not a reflection on the switch. The fan has been in daily use since I put the new switch in, and it is working just fine. I am completely pleased.

Written by an expert for experts. Some bits are hard to understand without a review of classic fencing vocabulary. Excellent resource for stage or public history demonstrations. I only wish Hutton had been a bit more expansive in some of his descriptions. He tells what to do, but not enough how to do it. Careful practice with a partner would reveal the tricks.
