Needs a small adjustment
The clamp does not fit a 2X4 such as a picnic table top. Clamp needs to open to at least 13/4". But I made it work.

Excellent buy
Thank you very much. You helped my 90 year old dad get through this frigid winter season in the North Country of New York State with this hard to find item. Good price and it got to him in a short time. He installed it and it fired right up and the house got back to a tolerable temperature. The outside temp. happened to be -30 degrees the day your item arrived. He sure was grateful. Thanks again, CW
