Can be flashed with DD-WRT.
1 of 1 found this helpful It's a more than competent dual band router and can be had used for less than $20. Gigabit and USB ports, three antenna for range, on/off switch if you don't want to unplug to reset.
Best of all version A1 can be flashed with DD-WRT opening up a whole range of possibilities not available with stock the D-Link OS.
Even without DD-WRT, I was using it as an Access Point to extend the wireless in my home. I put it on the first floor under the PS4 and laptop's location on the second floor and both were getting a 100% signal.

1 of 1 found this helpful Connection to Samsung S5 was quick and easy. And connection issues were virtually non existent during playback. It also proved more reliable than the built in screen mirroring on my Samsung TV. Unfortunately, video is limited to 30 FPS and while the quality is acceptable, it isn't stellar. Another issue was the lag that I experienced during video playback. It is supported by Windows 8.1, but my Toshbia laptop lacked the necessary hardware to take advantage of it. While I am not unhappy with it, I did find the Roku streaming stick had better quality.
