Mandatory last book of an excellent series.
Mockingjay is the third book of the Hunger Games series. The first two books were were excellent page-turning adventure, though I wouldn't recommend them to the under-twelve set, at least without some parental input. Unfortunately, this eagerly awaited finale was a bit of a let-down. There was still plenty of action, maybe too much violence, and a good read. But---don't read this spoiler--the ending was a bit of a let-down.

Man Named Dave
2 of 5 found this helpful Through Dave Pelzer's first we all "felt his pain." They were, if not thoroughly believable, at least interesting. In A Man Named Dave, the reader is gratified to find that the author has succeeded in life, despite his early trials. Unfortunately, while demonstating that religion was a big part of this success, Dave finds it necessary to preach the Word throughout the book. I was disappointed to find more preaching than story.
