Heavy-duty and gets the job done
3 of 3 found this helpful After trying our friends' Champion juicer, my wife wanted one too. This thing takes any hard fruit or veggie (for example apple or carrot) and extracts the juice and spits out the pulp. I have made gallons of apple juice with it at a time, just keep pushing quartered apples down the tube. My wife was a bit concerned about the plastic parts, but they seem to be stable and last for years. Fairly easy to clean, sometimes you need a knife or metal spoon to pry the "blade" off the shaft, but a few drops of vegetable oil helps. You can buy different screens or a blank (no holes) depending on what you are processing. One thing we've discovered is that you can put in frozen fruit and make homemade gelato/sherbert in seconds--yum.
