NEW GENUINE Dell Studio XPS 1640 1645 1647 (Red) 15.6" LCD Assembly D747T FCXC9

Perfect new OEM display. Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution.

This is a brand new, OEM Dell display. The resolution is 1920 x 1080. Dell part number: FCXC9. Well packaged. Relatively easy to install. My PC model is a Dell Studio XPS 1647. This new screen fits perfectly. I wish the red color was a little darker and deeper. It is a cherry / lipstick red. The lower 1/5 of the lid is leather covered. This screen is a slight upgrade over my original display resolution which was 1600 x 900. My original screen frame was damaged from a fall. This new screen seems to cause some eye strain for me. I may get used to it. A miniature Phillips-head screwdriver is required to disassemble the laptop. Detailed installation instructions with photos are shown in the Dell service manual. The manual is available on Dell's website.

Lasted only a couple weeks.

This USB cable no longer charges my phone. The cable functioned fine upon receipt. Both charging and data transfer were OK. However the cable stopped working after two weeks. Now the cable does not charge my phone properly. The symptoms are similar to a loose connector. Usually it will not charge at all. Occasionally the cable charges but I receive an error message that charging is slowed do an improper cable. Other cables seem to work well with my phone. A side note, about the cable construction. The cable is a little stiff. It feels like the wires could be solid instead of braided. Therefore the cable tends to retain its shape when bent.

Average beard timmer. Not great.

This is an acceptable beard trimmer. Nothing special. It works OK. The head is little too large and awkward. It also scrapes my face a bit. The trimmer tries to be all in one but compromises on beard trimming performance. I prefer the less expensive and smaller 3000 series trimmer.
