Versatile, powerful, compact.
6 of 6 found this helpful The reviews of this product tend to be lukewarm. I found it to be excellent. There may be other cameras in this category (mirrorless, less than full frame) that do particular things better, such as faster auto-focus etc. But overall, I think this is a really great product with the expected Nikon quality. It is extremely compact especially with the supplied kit lens. That lens has great optics, but a relatively high f/stop. The sensor is very good, allowing you to use high ISO values, which somewhat offsets the limited light gathering of the lens. And of course, you can buy faster lenses if you want the maximum results. If a semi-serious photographer is looking for a very good, convenient, versatile camera that is not too far from the professional level, I think this is a great choice.

Good choice.
It appears to be of very high quality -- better than I expected. I've used it only once, and it was fine.

Good replacement product.
The product fits well and works at least as well as the 1.5 Ah batteries from Milwaukee. I don't know if these batteries really deliver 3 Ah, but they certainly provide good power at a great price.
