Only solution to put a modern bulb in an older socket
Works great, three way functionality is perfect. Now, instead of a wasteful 100/200/300 watt bulb, we have a 50/100150 watt equivalent that uses up 8/16/22 watts. 90% power savings. Clear win.

Works for Cosmic Watch project
Works in cosmic watch project, just polish and drill it, build the CW boards, and you can detect radiation pretty well, muons very well.

Works fine for it's intended purpose
Spanner is fine for removing and installing rings around lenses and other tubular structures. It allows one to tighten the ring that last little bit that you can't get by hand, or loosen a tight ring with no damage to the surrounding stuff. If you are handy and work with large format camera lenses, or any other precise parts, this tool is a must have given the price.
There is a tiny bit of wobble even after tightening down the screws, but that's not a problem - one can use it to adjust that last little bit to get the piece in place. One small twist, and then one does the rest by hand. If you think you need it, then you do - get it!
