Many Listed Features, but serious programming issues
I received this item a few days ago. For the past two days I have had very limited success in setting up and programming this item. The item most often won't comply with remote commands and constantly freezes up, making it nearly impossible to set up or use. It also repeatedly reboots and unplugging the power source too has yet to correct the problems. In it's current state the item is actually useless to me. I will give it one more day and take a fresh look from the beginning to see if there would be anything that I may have overlooked, but right now, it doesn't look too promising.

A Cost Saver and a Great Modem too
2 of 2 found this helpful I, like many others, had been on auto-pilot with AT&T U-verse, un-wittingly paying $7.00 per month modem rent for 3 years ($252.00), until an incident caused me to actually pay attention to what I was being billed for. After looking into things and Realizing that i could use my own modem, I found and purchased this modem, the exact same model that I had been renting, brand new, for less than $30.00 including shipping! It arrived in 2 days, I unplugged the rented modem, plugged in my own and was off to the races "RENT FREE!" It works like a charm with NO issues what-so-ever! I sent the rented ATT/U-verse modem back free of charge at a nearby UPS store and was done. My own modem is one month away from paying for itself, and the $84/year of rent payments will now stay in my own pockets.
