Steel Hot Pot with glass lid
1 of 1 found this helpful We purchased this pot from and an ebay auction. There is no manufacturer information on it; most likely Chinese made. This pot is great; we bought it because we wanted a hot pot to cook Chinese hot pot dishes. The glass top (with a vent hole) is great; it allows you to monitor the cooking process; the vent reduces the billowing steam when you lift the top. The handles have plastic that does a great job of reducing the temperature of the handles (same with the glass top lid) making them safer to use while cooking. The divider works very well (no leak, and the slight wedge shape captures and helps distribute the heat to each half, to help with cooking. The metal is not the best, but is common for these pots. We have used this pot regularly since we got it. We like it very much!! It is good either on the stove or with a potable propane burner (which we use our pot with). We think that this pot is one of the better hot pots in this price range. Many of our friends have purchased this pot after seeing ours.

The instructions are not the best, but the web and others fill in advice and recommendations for us. The out put is somewhat small (one or two days of yogurt for us) but we are enjoying this machine and experience. We have recommended this product to friends.
