It's sounds good
Depending on the effects you use, it might not be that easy to place in your pedal chain (the sound that comes out will be affected by the enabled pedals that come afterward and the signal that gets in the VO-1 is affected by what's coming in before)
It's more expensive than what I've woud've liked to pay, but overall, it's a great alternative for a vocoder when you play guitar. It's sounds good!
