When You Need An Inexpensive Cartridge
1 of 1 found this helpful Oftentimes you need an inexpensive cartridge. These are especially good for children's players and rebuilding older (not vintage) turntables. A little double-stick tape mounts this in just about any headshell and you're ready to rock. I keep a half dozen of these on hand. They sound pretty good--that is an established fact. Bass will be lacking, but they work well.

Significantly Lighter and Thinner than OEM, but sometimes useful.
These belts are significantly narrower and thinner than OEM replacements, but there are some situations when they are useful. Especially Walkmans and boomboxes. They're basically the same heft as rubber bands, but black rubber. Use them knowing they're significantly lighter than those they replace.

Nasty Smell, but Whoah! it WORKS!
Re-Grip gets you through when you can't replace the rubber. Let's face it, nothing works when rubber is dessicated and shrunken--but when the situation is dicey--Re-grip will reinvigorate your rollers, idler tires, belts, etc. Good stuff, but smells NASTY!!
