Nice size for big meals
We love this deep big sauté pan. It is great for making chicken Marsala as the high edges and size 5.0qt. Make it easier to have a larger number of pieces sautéed at the same time. Also great for cooking hamburger for chili.

Heavy, durable and well made.
We have the rest of the Kitchenaid 7ply cookware (made by Demeyere) and it was missing the 2.0 qt saucepan. The 1.5 and 3.0 qt saucepans come with the set so we purchased this versatile saucepan to complete our set. All the 7ply are extremely well made but they are a bit heavy so may not be the best option if you want something lightweight. They are great with sauces, vegetables and pasta but be careful because they heat up quickly and hold heat longer so don’t just walk away while things are cooking because it takes less time, especially with the top cover on. You will enjoy cooking with them and cleanup is a breeze with some warm soapy water and a sponge/dishcloth.
