I am a perfectionist - JBL fit the bill - Can't imagine a better solution
1 of 1 found this helpful I have owned JBL speakers since the 1960's - Including their JBL L100's - They are a standard of excellence and durability - that is why I purchased this set for my Classic 2001 Chevrolet Silverado Short-bed pickup. As a "perfectionist" it took me a few hours to decide how to mount them in the doors without modification - I needed to make a wiring harness adapter out of the old speaker connector and 8" of wire, and purchase (8) 1" machine screws with nuts to do the job - and the result is was better than the factory speakers. Better sound reproduction in every way. Great value and great quality - just what one expects from JBL.
