Rugged and Effective

This antenna is professionally built and performs exactly as intended. Height above ground is important, and mounted at 30ft here, excellent results! The gain figure is relative to the lower take-off angle vs a standard J-Pole, which is why height above ground really concentrates more signal at greater distances. SWR curve is broad centered around 146 MHz. Lot’s of VHF bang for the buck! A+
